Ready to build a streak and race your way to the rewards? 🏮 Lantern Race in Jelly Busters is a limited-time competition where consistency is everything. The goal is simple: win levels back-to-back to climb the leaderboard and beat your rivals to the finish line before time runs out
🏁 How does it work?
Lantern Race isn't always active, so keep an eye on your Home screen for the event badge or a special pop-up before you start a level. If you don't see it right now, just keep playing and it'll appear when the next race kicks off.
- Join the Round: Tap Join on the event screen to enter the race. You'll need to pick a profile name and avatar before your progress can start counting.
- Win to Move: Play your standard levels as usual. Every level you win in a row earns you a point and moves you up the leaderboard.
- Beat the Leaderboard: Each round has a limited number of top ranks up for grabs. Reach the goal — a set number of levels won in a row — before those ranks fill up, and you win the round.
- Beat the Timer: You need to reach the goal before the event clock hits zero.
- Keep Climbing: If you win the round, you move on to the next one, with a new streak goal and a new leaderboard.
In Lantern Race, you don't compete live against other players. Instead, you're matched against recorded sessions — leaderboard rivals whose progress reflects real players' past performance on the same levels, so every round feels active and competitive.

🎁 How can I get rewards?
- Reaching the Goal: The first players to complete the round's streak goal, before all the top leaderboard ranks are taken, are declared winners.
- Claiming Rewards: Each round has its own reward, shown on the rounds map. Once you win, your reward is ready to claim — tap the event badge to open it.
- No Rush: You don't have to claim right away. Rewards stay available to claim for a limited time after you win, so grab them whenever suits you before the window closes.
⏱️ What Happens if I Lose?
- Lose a Level: Your current streak resets to zero, but you're still in the round. Just start building your streak again from scratch.
- Lose the Round: If you don't reach the goal before the top ranks fill up or the timer runs out, you stay on the same round and can try again the next time it's active.
Because your streak resets after a single loss, using a booster or extra moves when you're close to the goal can be a lifesaver to protect your progress!
